Leask Lakes
Leask Lakes consists of
an intact, mature temperate rainforest watershed. Two
large lakes are bordered by extensive wetlands and, a combination of habitats
rarely found in a near Southeast towns in Alaska.
Leask Creek runs for 2 miles from the lakes to Leask Cove and provides habitat for steelhead,
sockeye salmon, coho salmon, pink salmon, Dolly Varden, and cutthroat trout. In
addition, the Leask Cove contains culturally significant sites.

Leask Lakes
is located 14 miles northeast of Ketchikan, Alaska. It is
nestled in between the USFS Naha River Recreation Area and
the Upper George Inlet. |
